World Consumer Rights Day har saal 15 March ko banaya jata he, is din ko sari countries ke log consumers ki rights ko support karne ke liye or unhe protect karne or respect karne ke liye bnaya jata he. Is din ko mnane ka main objective he consumers ko market se hone vali injustice se protect karna. Is din ka aim he har desh ke logo ke bich awareness felana consumers rights ko leke or unhe in rights ko protect karne ke liye ek jut lekar aana. In consumer rights ke bare me sabko pata hone chahiye taki wo apne aap ko market injustice ke khilaf protect kar sake.
Ye din sabse pehle March 15, 1983 me observe kara gaya tha or ye day ispired he former US president John Fitzgerald Kennedy ki US congress ke March 15 1962 ke speech se. John Fitzgerald Kennedy first ese world leader the jinhone consumers ke right ko leke avaz uthai or unhe janta ke samne rakha as an important issue. Isliye har saal world ki alg alg organisation jese ki Consumer International is din ko events organise kar ke or consumer rights ko protect karne ke liye campaign kar ke celebrate karte he. In Indian this consumer protection act was passed on December 9, 1986 to protect consumers right.
On World Consumer Rights Day all organizations come together to put light on some important consumers rights like, the right to be heard at an appropriate forum, the right to seek redressal in case of unfair trade practices, the right to consumer education, the right to goods and services at competitive prices, the right to be informed about the quality, potency, purity, standard, and price of goods and services, the right to be protected against wrong marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to the life and property, etc.
