“I’ve been very grateful for everything that’s come my way,” exclaims Sini Shetty opening up about her gratifying journey and new year resolutions!

Smashing boundaries, 22-year-old Sini Shetty of Karnataka took the stage, won the coveted national crown at Femina Miss India 2022 and will soon represent India at the prestigious international pageant, Miss World. While we all eagerly wait for the queen to big back the coveted global crown, Sini, in a candid conversation, opened up about her gratifying journey so far and her hope and aspirations in the new year! “I think for me, 2023 is a different ball game altogether. One was winning the national title, and now the dream would be winning the international designation as well. For sure, as much as people worldwide and in India expect me to win the crown, that’s my only ultimate goal, but I hope there are a lot more surprises and a lot more challenges because, without challenges, you do not get ahead. So yes, let’s get the crown back.” she shared, fanning up about her expectation from 2023.

Bagging an opportunity to participate in Miss World in itself is a huge deal, and without a doubt, Sini had to sacrifice a lot on her personal front to prepare for the international pageant. Speaking about the few things she had to sacrifice to prepare for the prestigious title, she replied, “I think for the fact that I really, really want to do this, I do not consider it a sacrifice; as I said, this is a new world for me. There was once a time when I could walk into a dance studio and dance all the time, but I can’t do that today; my time doesn’t permit me, and my work doesn’t permit me, which is OK, not complaints because I’ve been very grateful for everything that’s come my way. But there’s a lot of my social space that I gave up because I had more time on my plate back then. However, not viewing it as a sacrifice, I would treat it more as a thing that I really, really want to do, and it’s just a change; of course, that’s how life is looking for me.”

Life after winning the crown is different, and on asking the stunner what the are things, she looks forward to in the new year and her resolution for 2023, she replies, “Apart from the fact that I should bring back the crown, I would want to be grateful for my journey so far and look forward to a whole new journey. Keeping in mind that my journey, which I left behind in 2022, is a level up, and I would want to level up more in life. Winning the Miss World crown would be my ultimate goal, and coming back and honouring the crown responsibility as well as the crown that I have right now and fulfilling its duties is something that I’m looking forward to.”

Winning the national pageant, without a doubt, many dreams and prayers were answered this year for the reigning queen. On asking her the one attribute she feels was a game changer, Sini replied, “Discipline takes you a long way, and it does not just mean being punctual, but discipline towards your work that comes right out of your heart and not just a schedule you have to follow. If I compare myself to when I worked in a corporate firm, there was a target, and a certain level of discipline came out of my heart to complete the target. Similarly, when it comes to this crown, I have a lot of levels to cover. There are a lot of things that I lack, and I want to improve, as miracles don’t happen. I can’t expect a miracle to happen, and the crown would be mine. I believe discipline and a lot of hard work, blessing and luck need to work in your favour. So I think discipline is levelling up to any goal you want to achieve, so it has to be the top-tier quality you should have.”

As she concluded, the queen shared her wishes and advice to all her fans and followers with a message, a piece of advice she aims to follow herself. She said, “It’s a new year, so I think all you should have on your vision board is new accomplishments and new visions for yourself. For me, it’s definitely to level up and achieve more. It might be very different for you, but you need to jot down things you want to complete, and I think you’ll be happy, satisfied and all well sufficient in your life.”
